Wizer Named a Promising Startup in the Israeli RetailTech Landscape Study

Alon Ravid, March 26, 2018

We are thrilled to share that Wizer has been recognized as one of the most promising startups in the first ever Israeli RetailTech Landscape. Created by The Shelf, Nielsen Innovate, JVP Play, and Deloitte, the initiative identified the top 100 startups within the competitive and highly innovative retail technology market.

Over the years, Israel has been producing highly successful tech companies. Recently, it has been making waves in retail technology with over 250 startups operating in the space. Levering deep expertise in emerging technologies such as computer vison and A.I., these companies are delivering services across the RetailTech ecosystem from payments and indoor mapping to self-checkout and pricing.

The Israeli RetailTech Landscape, released in January 2018, classified the 100 startups in 14 categories that represent the retail value chain. It serves as a reference of topnotch RetailTech products and services to serve the needs of customers.

Wizer has been included in the analytics category for our use of advanced A.I. and machine learning technology to generate new opportunities and increase sales for our customers. We believe Wizer’s recognition is attested by the excellence we provide to our customers, delivering cost-effective and in-depth market insights that help them achieve their business goals.

In making  the list, Wizer has been placed alongside category leaders like Trax or Yotpo. To view the rest of the startups who made the cut and to find out more about the Israeli RetailTech Landscape, the report can be viewed here.
